Types of Diaphragm Filter Presses Based on Diaphragm Material

Diaphragm filter presses can be classified into rubber diaphragm filter presses and polymer diaphragm filter presses based on the diaphragm material.

Rubber diaphragm filter presses are suitable for filtering materials that contain weak acids, weak bases, and non-organic solvents.

Compared to traditional split-fixed designs, the rubber diaphragm filter press reduces energy consumption after feeding.

The new design allows the rubber diaphragm to expand more fully, using lower pressure and gas volume.

Under the same gas source and volume conditions, the rubber diaphragm expansion is three times that of the polymer diaphragm, significantly reducing energy consumption.

High-Efficiency Dehydration Filtration Process

This type of filter press achieves efficient solid-liquid separation, ensuring a high-quality filtration effect while minimizing the moisture content of the filter cake.

After feeding, the filter cake is further compressed, improving dehydration efficiency.

Installation Precautions for Diaphragm Filter Press

Foundation Preparation

The foundation must be level before installation.

The horizontal error of each installation reference surface should not exceed 2mm.

Installation of Oil Cylinder Bracket

Level the oil cylinder bracket using pads.

Ensure that the planes of both brackets are at the same level.

Do not tighten the bolts between the oil cylinder and bracket at this stage.

Install the oil cylinder onto the bracket and tighten the anchor bolts.

Installation of Tailgate

Use a wire rope to hang the tailgate from its center hole.

Connect the tailgate to the main beam.

Installation of Main Beam Support

Assemble the main beam with the oil cylinder.

Fix the main beam and center column using a main beam clamp.

Aligning the Main Beam and Tail Plate

Support the installed tail plate.

Install the second main beam and fix it with a clamp.

Ensure that the positioning bayonet of both main beams and the tail plate is properly installed without gaps.

Diaphragm Alignment

Use a level to measure the alignment of the two main beams.

The height difference between any two points on the beams should be less than 3mm.

Adjust the main beam height using the main beam support rod.

The diagonal error of the frame should be less than 6mm, which can be corrected by adjusting the left and right positions of the tail plate.

Installation of the Top Plate

Hang the head plate onto the tracks of the main beams.

Check the coaxiality between the spherical end cap and piston rod (tolerance: 2mm).

Adjust the spherical end cap up, down, left, and right.

Install the pressure plate, ensuring proper connection between the head plate and piston rod.

Installation of Track Box and Brackets

Install the track box bracket and the upper and lower track boxes.

Installation of Transmission Components

The hook boxes are close to the positioning plate at the end of the track box.

The synchronization accuracy of the two hook boxes is less than 4mm.

Install sprockets, chains, oil motors, and telescopic boxes.

When connecting the chain and hook box, ensure:

Placement of Filter Plates

Lift and hang the filter plates onto the main beam track, ensuring the positioning handles are on the same side.

Filter Cloth Installation

Install the filter cloth and secure it using a filter cloth pressing ring (not required for sewn filter cloths).

Final Adjustments

Adjust the track box height to maintain stable and reliable filter plate movement.

Ensure the distance between the filter plate handle and the bottom of the upper track box is appropriate.
