Diaphragm Filter Press

The filter plate diaphragm filter press is an important member of current sewage treatment equipment. The diaphragm filter press is a filter chamber composed of a diaphragm plate and a box filter plate. Under the pressure of the feed pump, the slurry is sent into the filter chamber, and the solid and liquid in the slurry are separated by the filter medium (filter cloth). When the solids in the slurry form a filter cake, air is introduced into the diaphragm to fully squeeze the solids in the filter chamber and reduce the water content. This machine is unique for filtering viscous materials and users with high requirements for moisture content. (High-pressure diaphragm filter press) The filter plate is made of reinforced polypropylene, and the diaphragm is inlaid with the polypropylene plate, which is firm, not easy to fall off, and has a long service life.

The diaphragm filter press is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, sugar making, food, coal washing, grease, printing and dyeing, brewing, ceramics, mining metallurgy, sewage treatment, and other fields.

Energy-Saving Fast-Opening High-Pressure Diaphragm Filter Press Filtering Process

The normal filtering process of the diaphragm filter press is the conventional feed pressure (0.6-0.8Mpa), and the conventional slurry pump (head of about 60 meters) is used to form the filter cake. After the filter cake is pressurized by the diaphragm drum (drum pressure 1.0Mpa, water pressure 1.5Mpa), the water content of the filter cake is reduced again, and the water content of the filter cake is 13-18%. The energy-saving fast-opening high-pressure filter press increases the feed pressure (1.2-1.5MPa) and is equipped with a high-pressure slurry pump (pressure 2.0Mpa) to shorten the feeding time. After the filter cake is formed, a multi-stage centrifugal pump is used to make the drum pressure of the diaphragm filter press reach 1.5-2.0Mpa, and the water content of the filter cake is 9-12%. The control system adopts PLC fuzzy control, which is simple to operate and has a low failure rate. The plate pulling system adopts variable frequency fast plate pulling, which increases the number of operations per hour of the filter press. This machine is widely used in the dehydration of concentrates and slag under pressure such as electrolytic manganese, electrolytic zinc, and electrolytic copper to achieve the purpose of no pollution, zero emission, and recycling.

Diaphragm filter press is used to treat printing and dyeing wastewater and papermaking wastewater, and the moisture content of the filter cake is below 35%. Compared with the traditional belt filter press, the solid content of the filter cake is increased by 2-3 times, and the transportation cost of the filter cake is reduced by more than 1 time. The filter cake can be directly incinerated in the power plant. The calorific value of every 3 tons of filter cake is equivalent to 1 ton of coal. It truly turns sludge into resources and sewage into fresh water, completely replacing the belt filter press, and bringing rich benefits to users. The whole machine is fully automatic, equipped with an online filter cloth cleaning system and electronically controlled valve instruments, without manual intervention.
