The frame of the diaphragm filter press is the main body of the equipment, supporting the filter structure and connecting other components. It consists of thrust plates, clamps, hydraulic cylinders, and load-bearing beams. During operation, the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder pushes the clamps to secure the automatic diaphragm filter press, diaphragm plate, and filter cloth between the clamps and thrust plates. This ensures that the pressurized slurry undergoes filtration in the filter chamber.
Automatic Plate Pulling System
The automatic plate pulling system consists of an oil motor, mechanical arm, transmission mechanism, and stopping device. The hydraulic press system serves as the power unit that drives the clamping plate, allowing for the clamping or release of the automatic diaphragm filter press. It is equipped with gear pumps and various pressure-regulating valves.
When clamping the fully automatic diaphragm filter press, pressing and holding the "clamp" button activates the motor, shifting the hydraulic cylinder and clamping the filter press. Once the steam pressure reaches the upper limit set by the electric contact pressure gauge, the system stops the pump. At this point, the filter press enters an automatic pressure-maintaining state. If the pressure drops below the lower limit, the gear pump restarts to maintain the required filtration pressure.
For reciprocating operation, pressing the "reciprocating" button starts the motor, and the hydraulic cylinder moves the splint back and forth. To release the automatic diaphragm filter press, pressing the "pull plate" button activates the mechanical arm, which automatically pulls the plates back and forth. When the mechanical arm returns to its initial position, it triggers the limit switch and completes the cycle.
Considerations When Purchasing a Diaphragm Filter Press
Sludge Treatment Efficiency – Ensure that the size of the sludge filter press equipment matches the sludge treatment capacity, achieving the desired efficiency and concentration levels. Consider the cost of chemical raw materials used in sludge treatment to manage long-term expenses effectively.
Equipment Specifications – Pay attention to equipment positioning, manufacturing quality, and specifications, including anchor screws and other installation requirements.
Spare Parts Durability – Assess the lifespan of mechanical spare parts and establish a maintenance schedule to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Operational Cost Reduction – The diaphragm filter press should be optimized to minimize sludge handling costs. By adjusting the mesh size of the sludge conveyor belt and improving sludge compaction processes, operational efficiency is enhanced while costs are reduced. Upgrades and improvements over time can further contribute to cost savings.
