Maintenance of the Diaphragm Filter Press
Carefully check whether all connections are firm and all components are in good condition at any time. If any abnormality is found, inspect it in time.
Regularly check and re-oil the pallet trolley, sprocket chain, bearings, piston rod, and other parts to keep the supporting parts clean and well-lubricated, ensuring flexible movement.
Conduct insulation and reliability tests on the electronic control system regularly. If poor movement accuracy or inflexibility caused by electrical components are found, the electrical components should be repaired or replaced promptly.
Maintenance of the hydraulic system mainly involves checking and maintaining the sealing of hydraulic components and interfaces.
Check the sealing surfaces of the filter plate and diaphragm plate frequently to ensure they are clean and tidy. Before pressing, carefully inspect the filter cloth to ensure it is not folded, damaged, or contains residue, and is flat and tidy to ensure the filtering effect. At the same time, rinse the filter cloth thoroughly to maintain its filtering performance.
Hydraulic oil must be HM46 or HN68 and kept clean. Replace the hydraulic oil after running the new machine for a week. Drain the used hydraulic oil from the tank and wipe the tank clean. Replace the oil after one month of continuous use, and then replace it every six months to ensure the normal operation of the membrane filter.
Fault Diagnosis of the Diaphragm Filter Press
Insufficient oil pressure
Causes: Overflow valve is damaged; oil level is insufficient; oil pump is damaged; valve module and joints are leaking; cylinder seal is worn.
Troubleshooting: Repair or replace components; refill oil; change oil pump; tighten or replace O-ring; replace seal.
Weak pressure maintenance
Causes: Piston seal ring is worn; oil circuit is leaking; pilot check valve is malfunctioning.
Troubleshooting: Replace the seal ring; check the circuit; clean or replace faulty parts.
Leakage between filter plate and diaphragm
Causes: Raw material pump flow is too high; dust on the sealing surface of the filter plate and diaphragm; filter cloth is uneven or folded; oil pressure is insufficient.
Troubleshooting: Readjust flow rate; clean the filter cloth; adjust oil pressure.
Filter rupture
Causes: Filter cloth is damaged; filter cake is pressed before the filter chamber is fully filled; feeding speed is too fast, causing blockage in the filter plate diaphragm feed.
Troubleshooting: Replace filter cloth; ensure the filter cake fills the filter chamber before pressing; reduce feeding speed and clean the feeding hole.
The filtrate is not obvious
Causes: Filter cloth is broken; improper filter cloth selection; filter cloth opening is too large; filter cloth seams are damaged.
Troubleshooting: Replace the filter cloth; retest and select the appropriate cloth; resew or replace the filter cloth.
The hydraulic system has noise
Causes: Air intake fasteners are loose; hydraulic oil viscosity is too high.
Troubleshooting: Open the air valve to release trapped air; tighten fasteners; reduce hydraulic oil viscosity.
