The surface of the filter plate is carefully designed with drainage grooves. These grooves can guide the filtrate to flow smoothly out of the filter cloth and be discharged from the filter chamber through the drainage holes on the filter plate, ensuring the smooth progress of the filtration process.
Reinforcing Rib Design: To enhance the strength and rigidity of the filter plate, reinforcing ribs are reasonably arranged on the surface or inside of the filter plate. These reinforcing ribs can disperse the pressure when under high pressure, preventing the filter plate from deforming or cracking and ensuring the stability and reliability of the filter plate during long-term use.

IV. Working Principle
Filtration Stage: When the filter press is in operation, a certain number of Type 2000 polypropylene chamber filter plates are closely arranged under the action of strong mechanical force, and the inner cavities between the filter plates form a filter chamber. The material to be filtered is conveyed into the filter chamber under the specified feeding pressure. The solid particles in the material are intercepted by the filter cloth and gradually form a filter cake on the surface of the filter plate, while the liquid part passes through the filter cloth, follows the drainage grooves on the surface of the filter plate, and is discharged from the filter chamber through the drainage holes, thus achieving solid-liquid separation.
Pressing Stage (Optional): In some applications where it is necessary to further reduce the moisture content of the filter cake, compressed air or other pressing media can be introduced into the filter chamber to press the filter cake. The structure of the filter plate can withstand the pressure during the pressing process, causing the moisture in the filter cake to be further squeezed out and improving the solid-liquid separation effect.
