Working Principle

Filtration Stage: The liquid containing solid particles is fed into the filtration chamber, which consists of filter plates and filter cloth, by the feed pump. Under pressure, the liquid passes through the filter cloth, while solid particles are retained on the filter cloth's surface. As filtration progresses, the solid particles accumulate and form the filter cake.

Squeezing Stage: Once the filter cake reaches a certain thickness and filtration resistance increases, slowing the filtration speed, compressed air or high-pressure liquid is introduced into the diaphragm to further squeeze the filter cake, expelling more liquid and improving the filter cake's dryness.

Discharge Stage: After the filtration and squeezing processes are completed, the filter plates are loosened, and the automatic plate pull system opens the plates. The filter cake then falls off the filter cloth, either by gravity or with the assistance of a discharge device, completing the discharge process.
