Equipment Structure and Working Principle

The mobile filter press is equipped with a rain shelter, sludge pump, automatic liquid collection flap device, and conveyor belt. When the operation starts, the pressing plate, driven by the hydraulic cylinder, presses the filter plates and filter cloth together, forming sealed chambers between each pair of plates. Once the plates are fully compressed, the sludge pump feeds sludge into the filter chambers through the inlet at the rear of the filter press. Under the combined effect of pump pressure and hydraulic force, the liquid component passes through the filter cloth and is discharged through the outlet, while the solid particles are retained in the filter chamber, gradually accumulating to form a filter cake. Once no more liquid flows out, the feeding pump is turned off, and the pressing plate is released to relieve pressure. The automatic plate-shifting system then sequentially pulls apart the filter plates for discharge. The filter cakes drop onto the conveyor belt and are transported out of the equipment. The treated filter cakes have a low moisture content, making them easy to transport and further process.
